<p>He was 5 lb 15 oz. and 18 inches long.  He didn&#8217;t take his time coming&#8230;we got to the hospital at 9:30AM and he appeared at about 10:50&#8230;into the arms of the nurse (the midwife didn&#8217;t have time to make it.)  One interesting thing&#8211;he was born in the sac, or &#8220;in caul&#8221; as midwives say, it is a sign of good luck, not especially for the child but for all those around him, as the folklore goes.</p>
