Grace and Thomas performed in a Christmas Piano recital last Friday night. The six weeks of listening to Feliz Navidad and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer five times a day finally paid off:
Try to ignore Henry’s begging to watch a movie on the camera.
You know you’ve done a fine job of parenting and really helped your kids capture the true meaning of Christmas when you hear them singing at the top of their lungs:
“Joy to the world that Barney’s dead, we barbecued his head. Don’t worry about the body, we flushed it down the potty, round and round it goes, round and round it goes. Joy to the world that Barney’s dead!”
Thomas graduated from Kindergarten on June 6. He was very excited. We were very proud of him. He’s excited for first grade…but right now he’s just happy to be on summer break.
